Genozip supports a number of environment variables, as alternatives to certain command line options. These variables are provided for convenience.

GENOZIP_REFERENCE : an alternative to --reference : the path to a reference file. genounzip and genocat (but not genozip) also accept a directory name in this variable, and the reference file will be sought in that directory.

GENOZIP_NO_UPGRADE : equivalent to --no-upgrade.

GENOZIP_LICENSE : equivalent to --licfile.
